These terms apply to Spanish Language Center Notifications, the text message (SMS) program operated by Spanish Language Center. By opting in you agree to receive text messages from us on the terms below. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrolling in any class or purchasing anything from us.
Program name
This program is called Spanish Language Center Notifications, and it is operated by Spanish Language Center, a Spanish-language school for adults and professionals in San Diego, California.
How you join the program
You join by giving us your mobile number and opting in — on a form on our website, on a paper enrollment or registration form, in person at the school, over the phone, or by texting us first. We only send messages to a number that has opted in. Consent to receive text messages is never required in order to enroll, attend, or buy anything.
What messages we send
Once you have opted in, we may send you class reminders, schedule changes, school announcements, and promotional offers. We do not send messages that are unrelated to the school.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. How many messages you receive depends on your classes and on what is happening at the school, so there is no fixed number per week or per month.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Spanish Language Center does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them, depending on your plan. Please check with your carrier if you are unsure.
How to opt out — reply STOP
You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message we send you and we will stop sending you text messages. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and after that we will not send you any more, unless you opt in again. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from your class and does not stop us contacting you in other ways, such as by email or phone.

Carriers and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier’s network and to your handset, and we cannot guarantee that every message will arrive.
Your privacy
SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared and not sold to third parties for any purpose, including marketing. Spanish Language Center does not share, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise disclose your mobile number, your opt-in, or your consent to any third party, affiliate, or partner for marketing or for any other purpose. The only party that ever receives it is the messaging provider that delivers our messages for us, solely so that it can deliver them on our behalf. Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the new terms on this page.
